NCPE is undertaking an occasional series of Town Hall meetings to be open to the public, in order to give voice to citizens' concerns about ethics in government. We shall invite elected or appointed public officials to discuss current issues, and then to field questions from citizens and work toward dialogue. Our purpose is not only to give citizens a voice, but also to work toward shared approaches to these tough issues. Nevada needs a shared moral culture if those who live and work here are to know what to expect and what will not be tolerated in public offices; these Town Hall meetings are meant to contribute to that shared moral culture.
